Cookies themselves do not always request personal data and, in many cases, do not allow the user to be directly identified.

Information collected through cookies that enables a natural person to be directly or indirectly identified, such as online identifiers, unique device identifiers, IP addresses, preferences, or browsing behaviour, constitutes personal data within the meaning of Law No. 195/2024.

7. Consent to the use of cookies

When the website is accessed for the first time, the user is shown a cookie management module/banner through which the user is informed about the cookies used and may give or refuse consent for each category of cookies before any cookie that is not strictly necessary is placed on the user’s device.

Strictly necessary cookies are used for the operation of the website and cannot be disabled through the consent module. However, they may be blocked through the browser settings, with the risk that certain website functionalities may no longer operate properly.

Refusing optional cookies does not limit or restrict the user’s access to the website’s content.

The user has the right to withdraw consent at any time as easily as it was given by accessing the “Cookie Settings” link available on the website. The withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

The user may change their cookie preferences at any time by accessing the settings available on the website or changing the settings of the browser being used.

Blocking or disabling cookies may affect the browsing experience and prevent certain sections of the website from operating properly.

9. Security and confidentiality

Cookies are not viruses and cannot execute code. However, because they may store information regarding the user’s browsing activity or preferences, they must be managed carefully.

For secure browsing, we recommend that users:

  • use updated browsers;
